Any improvements or problems resolved after the first release of the program in Feb 1, 2003 is addressed via a single, cumulative update since the first release.

How do I get the most recent update of the VisualTax™ products?


Often we maintain a 'WIP' page that we post small revisions (or cosmetic changes) of less impact on your service. If you want to download such updates, enter www.visualtax.com\inprogress.htm and download the very last update we have prepared. Periodically, we post these small changes as a normal release version in the Download page.

'Employer not found' message.

After deleting an Employer do not use the same three character code for a new Employer/Payer.

T5 slip printout does not show any data

Most likely you are running Acrobat 9.3 or later version that has more security and blocks the figures. Un-check the enhanced security check box in Acrobat as follows: Run the Acrobat Reader and click on Edit-> Preferences -> Security (Enhanced) and un-check the 'Enable enhanced security' box.

T4 amounts do not seem to align in the boxes

On the Government copy there is no need. Revenue Canada uses Optical Character Recognition equipment (OCR) to read the amounts included inside the big pink boxes (not the small spacing boxes).
